2nd and 3rd class recently made their own musical instruments using recycled materials.






Cross Country Success

Congratulations to Kate and David on their recent achievement in the Connacht Schools Cross Country Championships held recently in Loughrea. Kate finished 7th and David finished 10th which secured Connacht medals for both of them.

2nd and 3rd class enjoyed an Autumn walk recently.


Parents Information Evening

The remaining Parent Information meetings will be held as follows:

Wednesday 19th September:
6pm Mrs Langan (Senior Infants)

Thursday 20th September:
6.30pm Ms Sandra Coyne (1st and 2nda)
7.30pm Ms Joanne Coyne (5tha and 6th)

It is important that parents attend these meetings please.


Please note that the following Parents Information Evening will now take place on Thursday 13th September at the following times at the school:

Ms Sarsfield’s Room 6:30pm
Ms Gorman’s Room 7:30pm

Junior and Senior Infants constructed their own imaginative homes. Some children also created homes for animals.

Gaelic football update

The girls Gaelic football team have qualified for the county semi final. The match will take place on Wednesday 23rd May in McHale Park, Castlebar at 12:15pm. All support would be greatly appreciated.
Also well done to the boys Gaelic team who reached the county quarter finals but unfortunately lost out to a very strong Balla team today.

Spring Walk

Junior and Senior Infants took advantage of the lovely weather today and went for a walk around Knock village.
