We really enjoyed our Grandparents’ Day last Tuesday, 4th February. Thank you to all of the children who were involved in the day, to the Grandparents for attending, a special thank you to Mrs Kelly who co-ordinated the event and Mrs Coyne for her work with our musicians.

St Bridget’s Day
5th and 6th class made crosses for St Bridget’s Day
Carol Service
We will hold a Christmas Carol service in the school hall on Friday, 20th December at 11.15am. All members of our school community are invited to attend.
November Mass
We held a Remembrance Mass for the Holy Souls in school today. We remembered our loved ones by placing their names on our Remembrance Tree.
Christmas Shoebox
Well done to all the children involved in our Christmas Shoebox Appeal and to Mrs Coyne for organising it. We collected 75 shoeboxes. These will be delivered to children in some of the poorest parts of the world in the coming weeks.
Holy Communion
Congratulations to the children in second class who made their First Communion on Saturday. Sincere thank you to Mrs Coyne and Ms Coyle, for preparing the children to receive the sacrament, the school choir, the Parents’ Association and all parents who assisted in providing refreshments after the ceremony.

Catholic Schools Week
Catholic Schools Week will take place from 27/01/2013 – 01/02/2013. We will hold an assembly and Grandparents Day in the school on Wednesday, 6th February at 12 pm.
