Pancake Tuesday

The children in 5th and 6th class made blueberry pancakes today. Yum!

The children in 5th and 6th class researched and presented projects on World War I.

Healthy Eating

5th and 6th class made fruit salad as part of Healthy Eating week. Yum!

Rest and Care

5th and 6th class visited the Rest and Care to make St Bridget’s crosses with the senior citizens. A special thank you to Grace McLoughlin for inviting us to attend the workshop and the staff of the Rest and Care.

Grandparents’ Day

We really enjoyed our Grandparents’ Day last Tuesday, 4th February. Thank you to all of the children who were involved in the day, to the Grandparents for attending, a special thank you to Mrs Kelly who co-ordinated the event and Mrs Coyne for her work with our musicians.

Light

The children in fifth and sixth class designed and made some colourful kaleidoscopes and periscopes.

 

Project Workshop

Ms Horkan’s class researched and presented History projects.

Projects

Children in fifth and sixth researched, and presented projects that were of interest to them. Children researched a range of topics that took in the world of sport, music, geography and history. Take a look at some of their work.

Christmas Treats

Children in fifth and sixth class prepared some delicious treats just in time for Christmas.
