Land Yachts
Fifth and Sixth Class designed and made Land Yachts. They tested them in the hall to measure the distance they traveled.
Pancake Tuesday
We really enjoyed making and eating pancakes on Pancake Tuesday
World War II
5th and 6th class presented their projects on World War II today. We invited the other classes to come and view our projects.
Hallowe’en 2012

5th and 6th Class carved pumpkins, and had good fun ducking for apples and other treats!
Comenius
Ms Boyle will travel to Germany shortly to attend a Comenius link seminar. We hope to forge links with other schools in Europe.
Red and Green Day
We held a Red and Green day today to fundraise for a tunnel for our school garden. We wish the Mayo team the best of luck on Sunday and hope they return home with Sam!
Olympics
We really enjoyed following the Olympic games over the summer.
5th and 6th decided to make their own Olympic medals to take home in reward for their hard work at school!
