Hallowe’en Sponsored Walk
We had a really enjoyable day at school today. We all dressed up and took part in our annual Hallowe’en Sponsored Walk. We raised an incredible €1500 and we are most thankful to everyone for their generosity and support.
County Final
Best of luck to Mr Halligan and his team Kilmeena as they take on Ballinrobe in the Intermediate County Football Final tomorrow afternoon in Mc Hale Park.
Congratulations
Congratulations to Ruth-Elle who came 2nd at the Great Britain Irish Dance competition in London at the weekend. This is the biggest competition in Irish dance. Ruth-Elle has qualified for the World Championships which will take place in March 2024.

Green Flag Ceremony
We had a wonderful day on Thursday, 26th October when we held our Green Flag raising ceremony. This is our sixth Green Flag and we are incredibly proud of the work undertaken by our Green School Committee led by Mrs Gorman. We were delighted to welcome Aoife and Lisa O’Rourke to help raise our flag. Well done to everyone involved.
2nd Class Tangram Fun
2nd Class enjoyed experimenting with tangrams this week; helping them to further explore the concept of 2-D shapes.
