Congratulations to Mr Frayne and our amazing group of talented children from 6th Class on their success at the Scór County Finals on Saturday. The children won first place in the novelty act category. Well done to our County Champions!

Congratulations to Mr Frayne and everyone involved with the school’s entry to the Cumann na mBunscol National Awards. The awards ceremony took place on Friday, 7th March in the Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone. We were delighted to win second place in the Best Small Schools in Ireland Category. A fantastic achievement for our school.
Good Afternoon All,
I hope this email finds you well. We wish to advise that there will be an electrical recycling day (WEEE Recycling Event) at
The West Car Park, Knock, on Thursday, 13th March 2025, from 10am – 4pm. Householders will
have an opportunity to recycle any waste electrical items, batteries or energy saving lightbulbs for FREE. Literally anything
household with a plug, a lead, or a battery, at the end of its useful life. This includes both large and small household items.
Recycling e-waste is beneficial for the environment and the economy. By recycling e-waste, it is diverted from landfill, and it
recovers raw materials for reuse. It also ensures that hazardous materials in these items are safely and responsibly disposed of.
Your assistance in circulating and promoting this information locally is very much appreciated.
Kind regards and thanks. Mary Forde |

Our nomination is recognition of the fantastic efforts of all our pupils, parents, staff and community over the past 12 months. Mr Frayne led and organised our project and the submission – congratulations to him on this achievement. The awards night will be held in the Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone on Friday 7th March.
