‘Spirit of Knock’

Dear Parents,

The 3rd annual ‘Spirit Of Knock’ 5k fun run/jog/walk will take place in Knock Village on Saturday 21st May @ 11am. We would invite and encourage all parents to come and participate, along with the children of the school, in what is a Community Event to generate much needed funds for our school.

We would encourage participation from all:- pupils, past pupils, parents, grandparents, friends, clubs, choirs, walking groups, etc.

If you are not able to participate we would appreciate help on the day, in the form of marshalling or providing some food/assistance for after race.

There will be an additional, supervised, 2K Kids Fun Race this year, with prizes for boys & girls from Junior Infants to 3rd class -Free Entrance. This Fun Race will be fully supervised and will go over a safe course away from main traffic.

Pupils from 4th -6th Class can participate in the main 5k Race with a prize for the first boy & girl from the school to finish.

The main 5k race/jog/walk is €10 for adults, €5 for students, €20 family. National School kids go FREE.

This year the event has been very generously sponsored by Kieran Whelton Motors and we are very grateful for his assistance.
